After her husband's abrupt death, Nancy Botwin starts selling pot to support her family. Over time she and her family become more entwined in illegal activities and it keeps getting harder living a double life.
Over the course of the show, Nancy turned from drug dealing to a Mexican mafia princess to an escape artist, all the while trying to keep her children from becoming complete derelicts and her lovesick brother-in-law Andy Botwin at bay.
It's now three years later and Nancy is sprung from the prison and is ready to make a fresh start in the Big Apple, with only her wits and her wit to see her through.Previous Episode

After three years in prison, Nancy receives an early parole to a Ny halfway house and discovers her promised witness protection services aren't necessary; Silas, Shane, Andy and Doug have settled into their new lives in Copenhagen.
