Supernatural Episode Guide

Supernatural revolves around Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles), two brothers who travel the country searching for their missing father and battling demons along the way.

Sam Winchester, a senior at Stanford University who's signing up to law school, tried to escape the family business of killing evil all his life - unlike his older brother, Dean. Ever since they were little their father John has been consumed with an obsession to find the evil forces that killed his wife. Their father trained his two young sons to help him in his crusade. They have grown up as hunters of the supernatural. Sam escaped by going to college, and now has a new life together with his girlfriend, Jessica. Dean, however, stayed behind to follow in his father’s footsteps, learning the tricks of the trade, and entering the family business.

Just as Sam’s new life was going just as planned with an upcoming interview at a prestigious law school, Dean comes to visit and let his brother know that their father is missing. Sam, though reluctant at first, agreed to help Dean track down their father.

While searching for their father, the brothers track evil supernaturals along the way. Dean and Sam start to become a family again after spending several years apart. However, during their quest, old sibling rivalries resurface, and the effects of their unusual childhood are shown. Sam continuous to be wary about their father and mission while Dean, although cocky and courageous on the surface, still tries to come to grips with his mother’s terrible death. But together with their different views and capabilities, the brothers are able to save lives by destroying the evil creatures that haunt the earth.
