The undead are back, and scarier than ever. AMC released today the first new promotional photo for Walking Dead Season 2 . The show is currently in production in the greater Atlanta area. The second season includes 13 episodes (seven more than season 1 – yeah!), and will air this Fall.

Along with the pix, AMC released this statement from Executive producer, writer, and director Frank Darabont: "At this moment, I'm standing on a stretch of post-apocalypse interstate in Georgia, littered with abandoned cars and blessing my good luck to be reunited with our fantastic cast, directors and crew. Across the board, there are none better. It's great to be shooting again. I think we've embarked on a great season."

Ashton Kutcher, who will replace Charlie Sheen in "Two and a Half Men" has signed a one-year contract with the team behind CBS and Warner Bros.

Ashton will be earning $20 million for the upcoming Season 9. That’s a whopping $750,000 for every episode. Previous star Charlie Sheen earned roughly $1.8 million per episode before his much publicized departure from the series.

Unfortunately "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" is still canceled, but here is some good news for all the Law and Order fans out there. Alexandra Eames is coming back for the 10th and final season. Yeah!

USA Network announced that the detective duo Bobby Goren and Alexandra Eames will be back together for the final season. "I'm excited and grateful that Katie has decided to rejoin one of the best detective teams in the history of television," said exec producer Dick Wolf.

A couple of weeks ago it has been announced that Vincent D'Onofrio will also be back fir the finale. It is also rumored that other former cast members may return. I hope they get Chris Noth, Julianne Nicholson and Annabella Sciora back into the mix.

Vincent D'Onofrio was replaced by marvelous Jeff Goldblum, and i think most people liked him as a replacement. Unfortunately he left the show in the middle of season 9, because it was uncertain if the show will come back for another season.

    True Blood Eric Northman

by Philip | posted 10 October 2010 | filed under: TV News

True Blood Star Eric Northman is an over 1000 years old and powerful vampire, who is the vampire sheriff of Area 5 in Louisiana, which includes Bon Temps. He owns a vamp nightclub called Fangtasia in Shreveport. Because of his age he is one of the strongest Vampires in True Blood. So far only two Vampires in the series are more powerful than him. One is his maker Godric. The other is Russell Edgington, a vampire nearly two thousand years older than him. Besides the common powers of vampires such as superhuman strength, speed, senses, immortality and healing Eric has the ability to fly.

The person closest to Eric is his vampire progeny called Pam. She was made into a vampire by Eric himself about a hundred years ago. She is his loyal assistant and the bouncer at Fangtasia.

In his human life Eric was a Viking. His father was a Viking King. From the small glimpse we got in his human life, it seems Eric was a rebel. Despite the wishes of his father and mother for him to get married, he rather enjoyed the pleasures of single life. In one dreadful night his entire family got killed by a pack of werewolves, commanded by Russell Edgington. The goal of the attack was to obtain the Kings crown to enlarge Russell`s collection of crowns. During the attack Eric was having sex with a maid. By the time Eric arrived his family was already dead, and his father dying. Before he dies, his father declares him king and makes him promise to avenge his family. A promise that Eric kept, and was finally fulfilled in True Blood's Season three finale.

Eric became a vampire somewhere in Scandinavia. He was wounded from battle and on the way home with his Viking companions. He knew that he would not survive the journey home, and against his wishes his Viking companions decide to stay with him. During the night a mysterious man murdered his comrades, and left him for dead. In the same night tattooed young man who introduces himself as "Death" comes to Eric. Impressed by the fighting skills and the warrior heart of Eric, the 1000 year-old Godric offers him immortality through life as an undead. Eric asks what he gets out of it, the mysterious boy says "Life". With a desire for life that he is renowned for, Eric Northman agrees and Godric turns him into a vampire.

I am looking forward to learn more about Eric in True Blood's Season 4.

    Ncis Abby Sciuto Tattoos

by Philip | posted 25 September 2010 | filed under: TV News

Abby Sciuto is probably the most colorful personality at CBS Hit Show NCIS. She is the forensic specialist at the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. Abby stands out with her upbeat quirky techno-geek persona, that is a mixture of the enthusiasm of a cheerleader and the mystery of a Goth. Her style of clothing is probably best described as Spice Goth. Spice Goths often wear short skirts and platform boots.

Abby Sciuto has at least eleven tattoos on her neck, arms, back, ankles and other places. The NCIS season 5 DVD set has a special on Abby’s tattoos. All of them are real except the spider web on her neck and the large cross on her lower back you see in the opening credits. The cross on the back is makeup added for the rare occasions Abby shows her bare back on camera. The spider web on her neck was requested by producer Donald Bellisario, who wanted the character to have a tattoo that would be visible (almost) all the time.

Here is a list of Abby's tattoos:

    spider web on her neck
smiley face on her right middle finger
"P" on the inside of her right wrist
three triangles on the inside of her left wrist
infinity symbol on her right inner forearm
the letters "R.I.P." on her left inner forearm
    a stick-figure angel on her right shoulder-blade
a flower on her upper back
a large cross on her lower back
a smiley face on her right inner ankle
and 3 dots on her left outer ankle
