January 25th 2011, MTV has announced it has ordered a fourth season of Jersey Shore. The new season will launch on Thursday, Aug. 4. June 3rd 2011, MTV announced that production on the 5th season of Jersey Shore will begin later this month in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.
