Burn Notice Episode Guide

When spies get fired, they get burned. A Burn Notice refers to intelligence agencies discrediting or announcing the firing of agents who are considered to have become unreliable. When spies are burned, their connection to the government is terminated, leaving them without resources and contacts.

After fleeing a busted operation in Nigeria and being abducted and tortured, Michael Westen finds himself in Miami, Florida. He is tended to by his ex-girlfriend, Fiona Glenanne, but he has been deserted by the government, is under constant surveillance, and his personal assets are frozen.

Michael uses his unique skills and training to help people in desperate need of help, while trying to figure out who burnt him. He is aided by washed up military intelligence contact Sam Axe and his beautiful ex girlfriend and ex-IRA operative Fiona. In between jobs he tries to find out who burned him.
