AMC's hit series Breaking Bad tells the story of Walter White (Bryan Cranston), an underachieving chemistry genius who lives in New Mexico with his wife Skyler and teenage son Walter Jr. who has cerebral palsy.
One day Walter is diagnosed with advanced lung cancer and gets informed that he has two years left to live. The diagnoses liberates Walter, which up to this day was sleepwalking through life, and with a new sense of fearlessness he uses his expertise in chemistry to secure his family's financial future... by producing the highest quality methamphetamine that ever hit the streets of New Mexico.
Walter partners with a former student, Jesse Pinkman, who is responsible for distributing the drugs.
